Listening is the foundation of any language.its where starts, yet so many of us overlook its importance.
To sharpen listening skills, here are a few ideas:

Tip 1: Listen to podcasts or audiobooks on topics you enjoy. Apps like Spotify and Audible have tons of free resources.

Tip 2: Watch videos with subtitles. Start with English subtitles and later try without them.

Tip 3: Practice focused listening by identifying specific words or phrases.

Effective listening tips for teachers :

1. Use interactive audio activity: Incorporate tools like podcasts, songs ,storytelling to make listening engaging and relatable for students .

2.Model Active Listening: Demonstrate good listening habits by maintaining eye contact, nodding, and summarizing key points. This encourages students to mimic these behaviors.

3.Encourage Peer Listening: Pair students for listening and speaking exercises, where one speaks, and the other listens actively before summarizing what was said. It’s a great way to build mutual respect and focus.
